Winter Storm Remus Bringing Great Smoky Mountains Snow Again The Great Smoky Mountains snow that won’t end. The National Weather Service has issued  yet another winter weather advisory for the Great Smoky Mountains and surrounding areas of East Tennessee and Western North Carolina. More snow is in the forecast from  Winter Storm Remus advancing toward the southeast United States. A Winter Weather Advisory in now in place for the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee and Western North Carolina.
